More About JELLY BEAN

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME!

7/07/09: HELLO, MY NAME IS JELLY BEAN! I am about 7-8 years old but still have a huge bounce in my step and have many more years hopefully to live. I am a shih tzu or mix. I was a stray and am currently living in a foster home in Chicago.

I am a very friendly and sweet boy and love to snuggle. I would love to find my forever home soon! I appear to be housebroken as well.

I am eager to please and eager to learn! Please give me a chance and I will love you forever!

I am up to date on shots and neutered and will be microchipped and on flea/heartworm prevention meds too. I also have some dry eyes and may need long term eye meds.

HERE IS SOME MORE INFORMATION YOU NEED TO KNOW IF INTERESTED IN ADOPTING ME!

GRACIE'S HEART OF GOLD REQUIRES ONGOING PROPER VETERINARY CARE FOR ALL ANIMALS ADOPTED TO INCLUDE HEARTWORM MEDICATIONS, FLEA MEDICATIONS, AND YEARLY VACCINATIONS.

MY ADOPTION FEE IS: $150. THESE FEES HELP KEEP THE RESCUE GOING. PLEASE READ MORE!

Adoption fees average $150-$300. This fee varies per animal based on additional vet care required to save them. Due to the rising costs of veterinary care, premium holistic dog food, gasoline prices, and boarding fees, which are paid for out of our own pockets, we recently were forced to raise our fees. We are not funded by anyone - adoption fees help to offset only a part of our cost of getting the dog ready for adoption. All dogs > 6 months are vetted, up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, wormed and have a goody starter bag. Puppies < 6 months will have at least 2 puppy vaccinations, microchipped, wormed, and goody starter bag. If age appropriate, will potentially also be spayed/neutered and have rabies vaccination also.

Please contact Kim at lovemelovemydogs2004@indy.rr.com for an application. Gracie's HEART of Gold reserves the right to refuse any adoption.

JELLY BEAN is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
