More About Beau/Chad [NC]

Beau is an outgoing Sun Conure and Chad is a sweet, shy Indian Ring Neck. It didn't take long for them to learn how to play, enjoy, and destroy their toys! Beau is an enthusiastic toy chewer while Chad is a forager who likes to look for treats stashed hidden in toys. Both of these birds are now extremely good eaters and have transitioned very well to a pelleted diet along with nutritious veggies, fruits, legumes, and some organic seeds as a treat. They are happy together and sleep snuggling side-by-side -- so they must be adopted together. Right now they are learning to enjoy hands-on time with people, which will progress well with someone with a little patience and dedication. These great birds will surely brighten the lives of their adopter.

Phoenix Landing's primary areas of operation include: Maryland (MD), Washington (DC), Virginia (VA), North Carolina (NC), Greenville (SC), and Knoxville (TN). Our Education Program is a FUN and required part of Phoenix Landing's adoption process. For this reason, adoptions are limited to our locations in MD, DC, VA, NC, SC, and TN, and close surrounding areas (including some bordering locations in PA, DE, WV). If you live beyond our adoption areas, we encourage you to locate a non-profit adoption organization in your area or email us for assistance finding one. Many parrots need our help!

If you are considering adoption through PL, please check out www.phoenixlanding.org for more information and to download a copy of our Adoption Application in DOC or PDF format. All potential adopters/fosters must attend our educational seminars as well as have a brief in-home visit and pay an adoption fee.

For more information about Phoenix Landing education events, please visit our web site, at: www.phoenixlanding.org/events.html

Thank you for considering adoption!
