More About Bert

Hello and thank you for stopping by! My name is Bert and I’m part lop and part angora. I am a very handsome man, but because I am part angora, I will need to be groomed on a regular basis. If not, I will get mats and knots in my fur and they hurt. However, once I’m groomed I get a lot of compliments.

I have been told I am a bit shy, but that happens sometimes when you are not in a forever home. Foster bunnies get moved around a bit, so I really haven’t gotten to comfortable at one place yet. I am sure once I’m home for good I won’t be so shy. I am currently working on my litter box habits and learning that humans are very nice and they like to give me some pets. I’ve been told that I am pretty active and once I’m done running around I like to flop down and relax. I will even take more pets while I am flopped.

If you would like to meet me, please stop by the Maplewood PETCO where I am patiently waiting for my forever home!

Even if you can't adopt me, you can help support my care by clicking on the Sponsor me* button at the top of this page!

If you think I sound interesting, there's more! Learn more about me & my personality (and other adoptable rabbits) on the MCRS foster blog. If you'd like to meet some bunnies in person, check out one of the MCRS events. To meet me specifically, please contact MCRS to make sure I'm there!

All MCRS rabbits are vet checked, sterilized & microchipped and adopted for $80 per rabbit. Learn more about the adoption process and get an adoption application kit online. Thank you for your interest in helping a homeless rabbit!
