More About Bones

Bones is a 2 year old purebred English Coonhound or "Redtick" Coonhound. He is a beautiful guy, with unique markings. He is very sweet, and likes to be loved on. Bones is a social guy . He does fine with some other dogs, but appears to not care for other males. He loves to sniff, and will sniff the smell right out of the air! He does not seem to have been a hunting dog, and is not a big barker/bayer. He does very well in a crate, and seems to have the idea of house training. Bones shows a lot of potential as a Search and Rescue or other working dog. He's got a good work ethic and a heck of a nose. He will definitely need to have a fenced in yard as he gets a scent and off he goes! He's a great boy and LOVES attention. He also loves to lean into you to be petted. We've discovered that at the shelter he likes to harass cats. Bones is neutered and current on his vet cares. . Bones is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
