American Bulldog [Mix]

"Total Softie Stuck In A Tough Girl Suit" What do you call a dog that looks a little tough on the outside, and is really all gentle sweetness? We call her Sophie. So polite, Sophie waits for you to walk through the door first. So gentle, even when starved, Sophie takes treats with a soft mouth. So smart, Sophie learned "sit", "shake" and is getting the idea of leash walking in a just days. Sophie maintains great eye contact and is always checking "is this good?". With elegant markings, a cute short snout, huge light eyes and sugar sweet nature, this American Bulldog mix does her breed proud. Sophie is house trained, quiet and well mannered. She must have been loved at one time and is now confused at being abandoned. An animal loving CCSPCA member found Sophie wandering hungry and alone on the outskirts of town, desperately searching for food and water. (Thank you Alice for rescuing Sophie and bringing her home for some human kindness.) UPDATE: Sophie has been in an accident! Unfortunately this adorable bulldog decided to lean out the window of a car too far and fell to the street below. Suffering two breaks on her back leg Sophie underwent emergency surgery and is now back on the road to wellness. We need to raise some money for this cutie and welcome all donations for her care.
