More About Rachel - VIDEOS

Please note - our kittens are in foster homes. Please call us before you come out so we can discuss what kind of kitten you're looking for, and what the kittens need.
Rachel's family was born around mid May and was seen frolicking around someone's property without a human home. So the babies were rounded up and brought to Katie's Place where they looked around with amazed eyes. They were too young to even be afraid of us. They hadn't been cuddled by a human before but the volunteers wasted no time introducing the adorable little fluff balls to cuddles. The babies were a bit unsure at first but they soon relaxed in our hands. They went to foster homes and have shown themselves to be playful, bouncy, mischievous and curious regular kittens. As a foster mom said, "They're so cute I can hardly stand it!" As Rachel and Olivia grew a bit more, we could see exotically lovely black tabby striping barely visible in their black fur. They also have the elegantly angular faces of Oriental cats. They are beautiful youngsters indeed. Their photos were taken when they arrived at a new foster home so they may look a bit wide-eyed. They soon settled in and their favourite game became playing in the sink with the water running. They'll need safe, loving homes for the 15 to 20 years that a cat can live these days. You can complete our standard pre adopt form and email it to us at katies.place@shaw.ca.
NB - Our babies must go home in pairs, or go to homes where there will be a cat friend for them. Cats are actually social animals who seek each other's company unless they've been raised in isolation from other cats. The kittens will grow up to be better pets if they have furry company. They will be affectionate without being dependent, and they'll be more easygoing. We also ask that our kittens go to indoor homes for safety from traffic, predators, disease, poisons, and other dangers in the outside world.

Rachel - VIDEOS is house trained and spayed/neutered.
