Medical Record: Jolene has been de-wormed, is up to date on all of her vaccinations, micro-chipped, spayed but tested positive for heartworm. Jolene has been treated for heartworm disease and is now back to perfect health.

Please consider Jolene for your new addition. There is a $500 adoption fee (Cash or Paypal only) which goes to help cover only a portion of each dog's medical and transport expenses. A home check will also be required because we do want to be sure that each dog goes to an environment suited to them. Please note that we don't have shelter facility in Canada, so please considering carefully again before this overseas adoption.

In a typical neighborhood, you’re probably neighbors with at least one Golden Retriever. Goldens seem to be everywhere-down the block, on television, and in every magazine. Goldens are joyful companions who are willing to try anything to please you. They are so much fun to be with. There is nothing like a greeting at the door by a golden. Stuffed toy in their mouth and continuously wagging their tails so hard with their butt move non-stop.

We found Jolene

Jolene has gone through a series of health checks and the Idexx 4-in-1 kit test showed she had heartworm disease. And Jolene also had serious scabies all over her body. She stayed at the animal hospital from March 21, 2009 and received treatments for heartworm disease and scabies.

After 3 months continuous treatments and complete rest, Jolene is back to perfect health now. This girl has had a hard time firstly been abandoned on the street by her previous owner and then suffered from hunger trying to fill up the stomach by searching for the left over on the street. Whenever we recall the first day we met Jolene, her terrible skin condition and the rotten smell from her body, we felt so sorry for her. But Jolene is such a happy girl, she acted so contented and joyful from the first day we met her.

Jolene has a very pleasant personality and gets along with all dogs. She especially loves to be with people. She is now staying with her foster mom Candy who is also fostering another rescued Golden retriever Apolo

You will find from a few video clips here that Jolene and Apolo are so happy to have each other for company. We couldn’t stop laughing when we see both of them rolling on the floor for fun. That looks so cute and they seemed to enjoy that a lot.
