Waffles is a darling little 10 month old Chihuahua. This poor girl was dropped off at an animal hospital in critical condition, A delivery driver had seen her on the side of the road shaking, picked her up and brought her to the closest hospital. The wonderful staff at the hospital treated her immediately and saved her life. She had a collapsed lung. Waffles is only 5 pounds. We are currently trying to raise donations to help pay for her vet bill. Waffles will be up for adoption after she's completely recovered. She's good with other animals, and loves to cuddle all the time. She's just the sweetest little girl. IF you would like to make a donation for Waffles care, please contact us by phone or e-mail. This covers altering, 6 in 1 series vaccinations to date of adoption, Bordetella Vaccination, Rabies vaccination if over four months, Microchip, Deworming, Parasite testing, frontline, grooming, full veterinary examination, and temperament evaluation. All SOAR dogs go through a ten day quarantine period to insure they are heatlhy, before being put up for adoption. Though if the dog is an owner turn in and has been to a vet within the last ten days they go immediately up for adoption, with a further exam at the time of altering. If for any reason the dog does not work out in your family we will take the dog back into our care at any time during the lifetime of the dog. (We recquire that the said do be returned to us, as per contract. Please read further details on our main page on the last section of our adoption procedure.)
