More About Brownie

UPDATE 9/13/09 AFF is happy to say Bronwie has found a new furever home!!! Brownie is doing well in his new home and his new mom is loving him up. We would like to first thank Brenda and Tommy for giving Brownie a home for a year and trying more then anyone we know to make the 2 cats get along. Brownie took a little stop at Brenda and Tommys house and he was loved ,spoiled and cared for like all animals should be. We also would like to thank Brownies new mommy, she came along at the perfect time and was the purr-fect match for Brownie. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hi. I am Brownie. I am neutered, negative for FIV and Leukemia and up to date on shots. I was adopted by a wonderful family almost a year ago. My mom says I am truly a lady’s man. I love the girl cat that I live with but not particularly crazy about the other boy cat I have to live with. Because I like to pick on him, my mom needs to lock me up during the day when they are at work. Because the other boy cat in the house has underdeveloped kidneys and was there a lot longer than me, my mom and dad are heartbroken but feel that it may be best for me to find a new furever home where I can be king of the castle with no other boys. AFF has decided to put me back up for adoption because the other male cat is very stressed and upset in his own home and his mom and dad are worried it will have a negative effect on his already troubled health . Some things I like to do: I like to be around the girl cat and my mom and dad. I’m always following one of them around. I love to play with my toys and occasionally like to plop on my mom's lap . One of the funny things I do is hide under the dining room table and jump out at my mom and dad. As soon as I “surprise” them, I turn around and run right back under the table so I can do it all over again. If I even see you heading that way, I will run from wherever I am to “hide” so I can get you as you pass. I occasionally like to relax and will crash out on the floor sprawled out on my back with all four paws straight up in the air. My mom and dad think it is really cute to see. I also talk when I’m excited to see you or my lady cat and I love to sit in front of the window. I need a home where I can be free to roam and maybe have a girl to play with. Can you blame a guy? I need a foster/furever home right away. My mom and dad are so very sad, but their little boy is terrified of me and they are really worried the stress will worsen his kidney problems. Please fill out an adoption/foster application at www.aff.petfinder.com. Any questions call Kim 215-676-3318 or email AFFRescue@aol.com.
