More About Nina
Nina thoroughly enjoys the warmth, comfort and company in her foster home, just hanging out with her foster mom and going for leisurely walks. She especially loves off-leash parks where she enjoys smelling everything the outdoors has to offer but always staying close by.
It's likely that Nina wasn't well socialized with people during those long years of solitude, as she is uncomfortable with people who crowd her or come on too strong. She is looking for a quiet home (no small children) and, although she peacefully coexists with the resident dog in her foster home, she would be perfectly happy being an "only dog." After a very short period of adjustment to learn her new routine Nina is completely housetrained. She is quiet, calm, well-mannered, very easy to live with, and comfortable being home alone without any separation anxiety. This golden girl deserves the very best!
Please see our other available dogs at Grateful Dogs Rescue. Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial medical and other costs in rescuing our dogs. In order to recoup some of these costs, we must charge an adoption fee. The adoption fee for Nina is $150.
If you are interested in adopting Nina, please complete our online adoption application. One of our volunteers will get back to you. Adoptions are local, confined to the SF Bay Area.
Nina is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
