More About Goldilocks

Goldilocks is a lovely buff and white Cocker Spaniel. She was found running loose in the mean city streets by a Good Dog Rescue volunteer. All efforts to find her home of origin have yielded no owners.

Goldilocks is a typical cocker girl. She loves her person, tolerates other dogs, and loves to be the Queen Bee of her world. She is house trained. As you can see in her pictures, she's got a lovely coloration and looks great with her summer do.

Goldilocks is current on her shots. She will be returning to our vet for fecal and heartworm testing - we had hoped to find her owner before doing more extensive tests.

Goldilocks is looking for her new home. One that will keep her safe and sound and off the streets - unless she's walking with you!

AN ADOPTION FEE OF $150 IS REQUIRED FOR GOLDILOCKS.

Please contact Lisa Trenthem at ltrenthem@gmail.com or 901-276-7751 if you are interested in adopting Goldilocks. If you are interested in adopting, have a look at our adoption application, complete it, and send to the contact person.

If you are unable to adopt at this time, you may sponsor the care of this pet.

We adopt dogs from Memphis Animal Shelter when we can. The shelter has an 83% euthanasia rate, one of the highest in the country. Unfortunately, any dog coming from Memphis Animal Shelter, and most other shelters for that matter, will have been in contact with contagious illness. Even though the dogs have been in foster care and appear to be in good health, they may become stressed when changing environments and exhibit signs and symptoms of illness. If you have other pets, they need to be up to date on vaccines before bringing a shelter dog into your home. We will take the adopted animal back, but we are not responsible for your other animal's vet care. We always disclose where the dogs have come from. Please ask for any information about the dogs and exercise due caution if you have immunocompromised animals.

Goldilocks is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
