Thank you everyone who has helped raise the funds for my heartworm treatment! I have now finished my 2nd part of the heartworm treatment and I'm doing great thanks to each and everyone of you! You gave me the chance of life again!
The first day of treatment the shots were horrible....they burned and I was in a lot of pain. Even the pain medication didn't help me very much. But the next day was better...and they tell me each day will get better. I have now finished my 2nd treatment!
Hello there, I'm little Dupree. Just 43 pounds, about 1-2 years old, short to the ground with large brown eyes that capture my sweet nature in just a glance. I was all alone with my two children when the shelter picked me up. Mugzy and Snoop Dog have both found homes. Lucky me and my youngsters, Save 1 Pet pulled all three of us from the shelter.
I am a young mother that was always trying to please but no one ever semed to notice. At least not until now! My foster home is great, I love the air conditioning, awhhhhhh. It is so nice to have air conditioning when you are a black dog. Heat just seems to get to us black dogs so fast.
I am now spayed, current on all my vaccines and frontlined. Do you like to see dogs do tricks? Then come and see what all I can do. I can sit, shake paw (with both feet), roll over and more! Yes, I am quite the entertainer. Kids are the best. I had a blast at our adoption day out and 3 little boys kept me very entertained. You should had seen us playing, me carrying the toy in my mouth and the boys leading me around the room. Sooooo much fun!

Please be advised that for all adoptions, we will conduct reference checks, including veterinary references. Our adoption fee for dogs is $95 which includes spay/neuter, heartworm check, current vaccines, worming and heartworm/flea/tick prevention.
For dog adoptions, we do conduct fence verifications.
When adopting an animal, you will be asked to complete our Adoption Contract.
