Pit Bull Terrier [Mix]

Meet Nevaeh! Sadly her owners could no longer keep her and she ended up here at the shelter on 5/31/09. She did live in a home with small children and did very well with them. She has had puppies at one time. We believe her to be approximately 2 years old. Once outside she comes alive and loves to roll in the grass and get belly rubs. She knows sit and shake. We know her chances are not very good. Nobody wants a dark brindle pit bull these days....breed and color discrimination at its best :( Her owners gave her that name....which is heaven spelled backwards and sadly we fear that is where she will end up. Heaven is not a bad place, but it's a place you go when you have lived a good long life - not when your life is taken from you, by those that try to save you.
