Miniature Pinscher [Mix]

Jesse was adopted at the Wags & Whiskers adoption event on June 6, 2009.
Jesse is, best we can figure, a Min Pin or a Manchester / Chihuahua mix. No matter his breed or his size (at 8 lbs), he's a SWEET young dog!

Jesse was owner surrendered to Real Good Dog Rescue. He is up to date on his shots, heartworm negative, and neutered. He is working on his housetraining, but he's just about 12 months old, so with someconsistent guidance, this smart little guy will have great manners in no time.

Jesse is a young male that has a very sweet personality. He has very fine bones and a lovely soft blond coat.

While Jesse has not been around children, he seems receptive to the attention that his foster mom's grandsons give him. He is good with other dogs his size, but larger dogs seem to overwhelm for now.

AN ADOPTION FEE OF $150 IS REQUIRED FOR JESSE.

We adopt dogs from Memphis Animal Shelter when we can. The shelter has an 83% euthanasia rate, one of the highest in the country. Unfortunately, any dog coming from Memphis Animal Shelter, and most other shelters for that matter, will have been in contact with contagious illness. Even though the dogs have been in foster care and appear to be in good health, they may become stressed when changing environments and exhibit signs and symptoms of illness. If you have other pets, they need to be up to date on vaccines before bringing a shelter dog into your home. We will take the adopted animal back, but we are not responsible for your other animal's vet care. We always disclose where the dogs have come from. Please ask for any information about the dogs and exercise due caution if you have immunocompromised animals.
