German Shepherd Dog [Mix]

Hercules Hercules Hercules, LOL. What a character. He has been with us for a couple months now and has had some ups and downs. He is an active puppy whose foster mom is working on the basics of not jumping up, etc. He has a very friendly, sweet disposition but he's active and has a very adolescent mind. He's very friendly and affectionate but is just learning how not to be obnoxious sometimes when socializing with people - fairly typical for a young untrained dog. He is a bit nervous around men which could be lack of exposure, or a learned behavior - this is improving. He has been great with other animals and people, in the crate, onlead, and he is housetrained. Hercules is a fairly active dog and would do well in an active household, and would probably be a great addition to a multipet home. He's very smart, and extremely cute! We're not sure why he's been with us so long, but we were slow in getting an updated bio up so hopefully that's the reason why, and he'll find a family soon.
