Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier

Latika (pronounced "Lateeka") is a female brindle-colored Pit Bull Terrier that we estimate to be between 1 and 2 years of age. She was found as a stray west of Austin. Latike is friendly and seems quite well-mannered. She seems to mind well and is not hyper or overbearing at all. She weighs about 55 pounds. She seems to get along well with other dogs at the Shelter if they are introduced properly in a calm setting. Latika resides in a 5' x 10' kennel pen so it makes it hard for us to know if she is housetrained or not, but she does keep her kennel pen very clean. Her prospective home should plan on doing some housetraining work just to be sure. Latika may look imposing, but she been a nice gal. Latika will not be adopted as an outdoor dog nor as a guard dog.

Latika's adoption fee is $95. We utilize a short adoption application form to assess compatibility between dogs and their prospective homes.
