Like all sidekicks, I'm just plain good company. I like attention, and I also like my solitude. I don't go looking for trouble but I'm no scaredy-cat either. If you are looking for a steady companion to travel with you on the road of life, look no further.

Interesting Stuff About TABITHA aka Ginger:
TABITHA (aka Ginger) was known in TV land as the cute toddler in Bewitched. A few of the series dealt with Tabitha trying to find her place in a world that did not know about her abilities as a witch. You could say that Tabitha, the cat, also has similar challenges in trying to fit into a world that doesn’t always understand her. First, she’s generally on the quiet side, not one to engage in idle kitty chatter. Second, she’s a bit shy at first, not the kind of cat that will run up to greet strangers. But once you spend a bit of time with her you will realize that she is a very affectionate cat. When she realizes that you want to be her friend, she will gently head butt your hand as her way of trying to bond with you. In other words, with a little attention and kindness Tabitha will gain that trust knowing that she is understood by a patient and kind human.

Tabitha is not just a pretty orange tabby, she’s a beauty. Her orange color is a vibrant orange with red highlights that seem to make her coloring even bolder. But the feature that is absolutely captivating is her eyes. As you can see from her pictures she has eyes that are a phenomenal lime green that one might even say have a turquoise hue to them. Her eyes against her beautiful coloring really do make her one gorgeous cat!

Tabitha has a friend that she is bonded with. They came to the shelter together and need each other to thrive. Not such a bad deal considering that her friend is OZZY. Refer to Ozzy at the following Petfinder Link OzzyLink . Ozzy is a great complement to Tabitha. He’s the outgoing one; however, he doesn’t interfere when attention is being given to Tabitha. He seems to understand that she needs time to get acquainted. When the attention does come his way he turns into one very personable guy. He’ll quickly greet you with an exuberant wagging tail and rolling purr that is music to hear. His melodic purr could be why he was named after the infamous Ozzy Osbourne??!! A mystery that we will never know the answer to.

Tabitha and Ozzy were living in a comfortable home with a loving owner; however, their owner was relocated to China and could not take the pair along. She mentioned that it was extremely difficult bringing them back to CAT but did want their new owner(s) to the following: “Tabitha needs patience to have her trust anyone new” …. and would definitely do well in a home where it is just her and Ozzy. She also mentioned that Tabitha tolerates dogs, is very affectionate (once she is comfortable with you), is playful, and loves to be petted.

Tabitha and Ozzy are a bonded pair. They are dependent on each other and would be very unhappy if separated. To help these cats get adopted as a pair, Cat Adoption Team now offers a discount of $50 on the second cat when bonded pairs are adopted together. Only CAT's Operations Manager will determine which cats are bonded pairs and this will be noted on the cats' charts. Bonded pairs apply to adult cats 1 year of age or older that are surrendered to the shelter at the same time from the same owner. The discount does not apply to kittens or to two cats that may be sharing a cage but came in separately.

We hope that this discount will encourage adopters to open their hearts even more and give two cats that really depend on each other another chance at a forever home. br>
