More About Tux
Tux is a handsome long haired BIG male cat who has been living as a stray in an apartment complex in Harleysville. He was trapped and proved to be very sweet. Since the residents of this apartment complex are not allowed to own pets, many get released outside resulting in a large stray cat population of one time pets.
Tux is also FIV positive. FIV stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. It is NOT contagious to people or dogs. FIV can suppress the immune system but most cats live very long and healthy lives with FIV. For more information on FIV, CLICK HERE.
