This beautiful cat is yearning for a home where she can be someone's special adoring pet. Cricket is stunningly beautiful. She is very low maintenance & spends her time sitting on the back of a chair or watching out the window. She is very clean and has soft fur that does not seem to mat. Cricket is a wonderful, low maintenance, loving pet. In her foster home she likes a quiet environment and is very affectionate and loving. She wants to be with her "people". She will sit on a footstool or beside you and watch TV, sometimes she will climb up on your lap for some loving. She enjoys sitting in high places or sitting in the window watching the birds. She has put on weight and her coat is very lush and beautiful and is easily maintained with occasional brushing...she enjoys this a lot!

We are definitely convinced that she was not comfortable in her previous home, especially with a child being rough with her. She needs a quiet home, probably with adults only...or could be the special pet of a calm, nurturing child over the age of 10. She might tolerate another, low key, cat in the home. She is very comfortable with dogs.

Cricket is 4 yrs old and was given up by owners because their child was too rough with her...hmmm. She is said to be a great cat, good with kids, dogs and other cats. Right now she seems depressed and quiet...she has gotten thin while in the shelter...probably trying to adjust to caged life after having had the free run of a home for 4 yrs.

Cricket gets along with other cats but is not interested in much interaction or play. She is a very sweet girl, friendly and loving in a quiet way and is learning to enjoy life more each day now that she is in foster care.

This is a very beautiful cat...stunning face and beautiful white and tabby markings. She will make a wonderful family pet.
