More About Skittles

Skittles is a sweet, sweet girl. We discovered that she can be quite vocal as well when confined to a cat carrier, and her meows are the sweetest cries. When she talks to you, she is irresistible. Skittles is very playful and is enjoying her life in the large cat room after weeks confined to a cage.

Skittles was relinquished by her former owners as "a stray" that was living on the property as a young kitten, with her mom and sister, Alexis, when the owners moved in last June. After the arrival of Skittle's mom's "Litter Number Three" two months ago, numerous cats now had to move out, as the expense of food and litter for five adult cats was straining the budget of this family.

When Skittles was picked up at her home by a humane society volunteer, she was peacefully snoozing on a padded rocking chair in the living room, blissfully unaware that her life as a pampered pet was about to be over, replaced by life in an animal shelter. Skittles' sister, Alexis, was relinquished, along with their younger half-brother, Mason, and mom and her new litter of four kittens: Justin, Kevin, Sarah and Becca. Skittles would love a home of her own in which to romp and play - with plenty of nap time, of course.
