Weimaraner

Abbey is a 6 year old spayed female weimaraner.  She weighs approximately 65#, silver grey with bluish/yellow eyes.  Her owners did not have the time necessary for an active girl like Abbey.  She loves to run and run.  She needs time outdoors at the dogpark or playing in a field.   

Abbey is housebroken and crate trained.  She spends a lot of time in her crate so we would like to see her go to a home where her family is around to spend time with her.  Abbey is a good girl and knows sit, stay, lay down, go to bed and paw.  She walks nicely with the use of a prong collar.  She loves car rides and nicely in the passenger seat.  She enjoys a good old fashioned game of fetch and hanging with her people.

Abbey is active and confident except with thunder and fireworks then she gets scared and nervous.  She is good with other dogs and may do fine with cats as well.

If you are interested in adopting one of our rescue weims, you must first go to our website and fill out an application and be interviewed. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis. The applicant with the most to offer a particular dog will be our first choice. Take advantage of our half off special during November (Adopt a Senior Dog Month).
