More About Jailbait, FL

Jailbait was a tiny little kitty when she was found by a police officer. A recuer friend that works at a bail bonds place was when to the gas station, where she sees the police officer come in with the kitten, where then she asked our friend to hold the kitten while he was going to catch a thief. Upon his return to get the kitten to take him somewhere to get help, our friend had already returned to the bail bonds office where the kitten stay. Hence her name Jailbait. Jailbait had a broken leg, our rescue friend couldn't afford her medical at the time so she asked HPR for help. We took Jailbait into our rescue and immediately she was rushed to the vet. Apparently her little leg was broken in several places, probably due to a car running over her leg and crushing it, that is what the vet believes. We try to save her leg, she had surgery and pins were put inside, but she had no movement and no feeling so the pins were not going to make much difference doc decided to amputate. Jailbait has 3 legs now but the truth is that she doesn't even know it. She is happy, runs and jumps all over the place, plays with the cats, plays with the dogs and is super sweet with people.
If you are interested in giving this beautiful and sweet kitty a home to call her own. Please contact HPR @: HPRESQ@aol.com for a screening application.
