More About Beemer

'Hi, my name is Beemer. I was found with my brother, Hemme under a dumpster when we were very little. I am so glad someone rescued us from being out in the cold. I am the shy one of the group. I have been in a foster-home since we were rescued, but would really love to have a home of my own.

Like my brother, I also have tested positive for Feline Leukemia (FeLV), but have no symptoms and do not require any extra care. I am a very healthy kitty, but I am also very shy. I would need to have a home with someone who would be very patient with me and allow me to warm up in my own time. I either need to be the only kitty in your household since I have tested FeLV positive, but if you have another kitty that is also FeLV positive also, I don't mind sharing and would enjoy the company.

Once I know you, I may still not be a lap cat, but I do LOVE to play! I love bouncy balls and feathers on a string. Got some?'

If you would like to make a difference in the life of the sweet, but shy gal. She would be forever grateful. You can fill out an online application. You can also read more about FeLV at http://www.marleyfund.com/felvfacts.aspx

Please fill out our online application.

We reserve the right to perform home visits on any adoption. Because we follow up on every adoption, we prefer adopters within a 75 mile radius of Concord, NC and they will be given priority over out of area applications. If you would like to see a particular pet at a Saturday adoption event, please contact us at least 2 days in advance so we can get in touch with the foster family and try to make sure they can be there.
