Kaylee is a beautiful, former-breeder dog who is ready for a new life in a loving home. We think she is probably at least 8 years old, and her thick black coat is powdery-soft. She has white frosting on her ears, face, chest and feet. Since she has lived with very little human contact for so long, she is a bit shy and skittery, but she is completely submissive, and is always an armload of love when cuddled. She hopes to be found by someone who is patient and understanding, and will help her build up self-esteem and trust.

Kaylee walks nicely on leash, rides quietly in the car, has learned to enjoy groomings, almost NEVER barks, and loves to exchange kisses. Her favorite game is to come find me when I'm squeeking her plushy toy, snatch it, then dash it back to her stash on her favorite bed. She would do best with a mostly stay-at-home adult so she can have regular potty breaks; she has trouble "holding it" all day if no one is there to let her out occasionally. She will, however, go out on her own if she has access to a fenced yard. Since she startles easily, a home with young kids would not be a comfortable one for HER. Kaylee's adoption fee is $75 because she is a special-needs girl who will require help learning how to be a real pet in the real world. She's waiting for that gentle someone who loves lovings as much as she does.

All UnderDogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm checked, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Our application process has two steps:

• FIRST, an application must be approved for adoption from our rescue.
• SECOND, we determine whether the dog that has been applied for is a "good match" for the household that wants to adopt him/her. We take into consideration the dog's activity level, compatibility with other members of the household (human and other pets), etc.
• If your application has been approved, but the dog you applied for is no longer available, please take the time and look over our adoptable dogs again. We will make every effort to find the right dog for an approved applicant.
