More About Isaiah(transferred

MANY THANKS TO THE GREATER NEW HAVEN CAT PROJECT FOR TAKING ISAIAH INTO FOSTER CARE!! CALL 203-782-CATS FOR ADOPTION INFO ON ISAIAH!!! Meet Isaiah~ He was cold & alone living in an apartment complex known for the dumping of cats. He was so sick a kind soul alerted us to is poor medical state. Isaiah was just sitting on someone's doorstep, not even willing to eat. When I approached him, I was expecting a hiss or even a swat, but poor Isaiah just leaned into my hand for a pet. He nose was dripping with mucus, his eyes were half shut and he was just a mess. Isaiah was taken to the veterinarian where we received some bad news. On top of his major upper respiratory infection, Isaiah has FIV. He was so good for his exam, though, that it would break my heart to euthanize him. Sadly, Isaiah only has 7 days to live. This time will allow his possible owner the chance to redeem him. Isaiah is a wonderful cat. He is very sick right now, but has even made small progress after receiving his antibiotics. He is on the road to recovery! Isaiah is a great lapcat as he is eager to crawl all over me when I'm sitting in his kennel. He is thin because he is so sick that he has no appetite, but we're working on that. Isaiah is desperate for either his owner to come forward or to find a home in 7 days time. Isaiah is a pretty social guy, he's not skittish. He hasn't hissed at all and I've been wiping his nose regularly. He was good while the vet examined him and believes Isaiah to be 2-3 years old. If you feel you can provide a home for Isaiah appropriate for a FIV+ cat please contact THE GREATER NEW HAVEN CAT PROJECT AT 203-782-CATS.
