Missy is a sweet senior girl. Her owners were not able to take proper care of her, so she wandered around the neighborhood unsafe and unattended. Missy is a very sweet girl and loves attention and affection. As you can see from her pictures she is full of life and spunk! She loves being looked after and treasured and is working very hard on her housetraining with regular access to the outside. Her foster mama says she may be skinny now, but she has a great appetite! She's be a great addition for someone who is looking for companionship without the chaos. She's not a big barker, and really just loves laying next to you on the sofa and keeping each other company. She gets along fine with other dogs, and we think she'd be fine with cats too. DREAM is an all-volunteer adoption organization and can only consider applications within an hour of the metro-Atlanta area. We do not recommend purebred dachshunds to families with children under 5. Missy's adoption donation is $150 and includes spay, vaccinations and heartworm test.
