Such a sad beginning --- this has now changed! Pictures of Cyrus today, weeks into rescue. He's now ready & waiting for that loving home---could that be yours??? Cyrus is a young 2 - 2 1/2 y/o who's had a rough start to life. He was found with 3 other dogs in a backyard slowly dieing because he wasn't wanted and wasn't being fed. Two of the 4 dogs were already dead from starvation. Cyrus and his sister Miley were emaciated and weak. This boy is a sweetheart! Very friendly boy who is gaining weight and learning what life can be like with kind caring humans. He's currently in foster care doing well. Learning manners and progressing on potty training. Very promising = he's friendly and will bond to someone that shows him attention and love. Cyrus needs a home. Preferably with another dog. As with all hounds, a secure fenced yard is needed. Hounds can follow a scent oblivious to surroundings. Cyrus would be a great choice for a family dog. Happy and playful. Neutered, vaccines up to date, dental cleaning, heartworm negative.
