More About Daisy

DAISY
Daisy is a sweet, gentle and lovable 4year old, Shar Pei mix. Weight is appr. 60 pounds. She gets along well with other gentle dogs. She is timid and will cower when around aggressive or assertive dogs. She is shy until she gets to know you.
Daisy roamed the streets in my area for quite awhile. She had to learn to trust me enough to let me feed her and then finally pet her. When she finally trusted me enough to let me rescue her, she was in pretty bad shape. She was thin, had just a few hairs on her body, had no whiskers, she has been shot and had numerous scars and scrapes on her body from who knows where or when.
Luckily she did not have mange. She did test positive for heartworm. She had no other significant health problems. She has been successfully treated for heartworm under a vets care. She is now quite healthy, with a wonderful, short bristly coat of hair all over her body and whiskers too she sheds very little. She is on heartworm and flea prevention and must remain on these preventions for the rest of her life.
Daisy is a wonderful companion. She needs a fenced yard and an inside/outside living situation. Her very short hair makes inside living conditions necessary for extreme hot or cold weather. She is fully house trained.
Someone, somewhere, loved this dog at one time. She knows more tricks than I do. She gives kisses, likes to be hugged and loves tummy rubs. She loves to run up and down, round and round and come to sitting position right in front of you. She barks very little and when you laugh, she smiles.
The adoption fee is $50.

Daisy is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered.
