Hound, Terrier [Mix]

Hi Im Dude. I lived for 4 months in the cherokee shelter in Gaffney SC. They tell me I am a hound mixed with terrier and something else. That makes me a genchang dog.....genitically challanged! I didnt like living in a cage at all, especially with so many other dogs. We had to fight over the food. I tried to share but its hard when you are so hungry not to be grabby. I am good with other dogs, i chase after cats but dont hurt them. I love horses and kids too. When i was in Gaffney, some nice lady came and put me in the "snowball" program. That is for dogs who are considered pretty much unadoptable and who only have a snowballs chance in 'a very worm climate", to ever be adopted into a loving home. I was considered too homely to be wanted. My foster mom thinks I am a handsome boy who just needs more food and a bath. I am up to date on shots and neutered, tatooes and microchipped. Dude is a very sweet dog who walks well on a leash . He can jump a 5 foot fence if he wants to as he is very spry. He loves belly rubs and to snuggle, and chase balls and toys. He is learning about house living and how to behave . He will make a wonderful pet for some lucky family
He is good with cats, and kids!
