ADOPTED!!! Lovely little Macaroni is one of the 25 cats and kittens rescued by a PSPP volunteer from a south Georgia dairy farm that was deliberately starving the cats to death to reduce their numbers. Macaroni was a tiny kitten when she first came in, and so thin and sick that we really didn't think she'd make it. But she did! And now she's just the sweetest little thing at about 7-8 months old. She's a very small girl, and will always be somewhat of a tiny cat. She's VERY adventurous, and originally (when we thought "she" was a "he"!) was called "Marco Polo." You see, she was always exploring every new place and several times even slipping into other rooms and scaring us to death wondering what happened to her until she would pop out of some nook or cranny as if to say, "Ha! Here I am!"

Macaroni rooms with Callie and Miss Buster (both also available) and does extremely well with them and other cats. She would make a wonderful companion to a cat already in a household, but would also be fine as an only cat.

Many of the kitties we rescued from this farm stayed very shy, but Mararoni was friendly almost from the get-go. She loves attention, but will wait patiently for you to greet the other cats and then (if you've delayed a bit too long), will reach up to pat you as if to remind you not to forget her. She is really terribly sweet and we so much hope this lovely little girl...who has gone through some very rough times in her short life...will get the warm and loving home that she deserves.

Macaroni is very good about using her littler box. She is spayed, tested for feline diseases, up to date on vaccinations and, prior to adoption, will be microchipped.
