More About Tony

BE SURE TO WATCH TONY'S VIDEO!!

Tony the Tiger is a strikingly marked golden brown tabby male, and is about 10 months old at this time. He is one of the cats that PSPP rescued from an agriculture facility in south Georgia where around 80 cats were being deliberately starved to death to reduce their numbers. Poor Tony was so thin and scrawny when we took him away from this place...and he's come such a long way!

Tony is really beautiful, and very smart and personable. He loves human companionship and will meow for us to come over and PAY ATTENTION TO HIM! whenever we enter his area. He rooms with Brandy and Bernie, and does well with them. However, he is a rather rambunctious cat and should either be an only cat or be placed with another young cat who enjoys playing.

Tony was very frightened of people when he first joined our program, and he still needs a bit of time to trust newcomers. Even so, he will dart up to rub against your legs and reach out through his room fencing to beckon you over. This is a cat who will respond very well to a patient and loving person who is ready to lavish lots of TLC on him.

Tony is VERY playful, curious and adventurous. He needs lots of toys to keep him challenged, and you will be greatly entertained by all his antics! He would be a great choice who is looking for a second cat to play with a lonely cat already in the household.

Tony is very good about using his litter box. He has been neutered, tested for feline diseases, vaccinated and will be micro-chipped prior to adoption.

If you are interested in learning more about Tony and/or to request an application, please call his foster "mom", Deborah, at 404 414 1282 or email her at dsmithcallahan@gmail.com. Once your application is approved we can make arrangements for a "meet and greet" at your home or another convenient location.

Please note that we charge a $125 adoption fee for each cat to help partially offset vet care expenses. We generally conduct home visits prior to finalization of each adoption.
