More About Whitey cottonball

UPDATE 10/5/09: Please consider adopting a senior pet like Whitey. They are terrific companions and shouldn't be overlooked. UPDATE 9/6/09: Whitey is doing well in his foster home and gets along with the resident kitty. He also doesn't mind the dogs that he lives with and is a very happy boy. Whitey's foster family is moving soon and trying to sell their home, so we would hope he could find a permanent home soon. He is a very handsome and loving boy and although he is an older cat, we think he has many more years of loving left in him. Please e-mail us at spcagainesville@hotmail.com to meet Whitey. UPDATE 6/7/09: Whitey is still in foster care. He doesn't get much attention because he is a senior. Also, his allergies don't do well at PetsMart where there is not good ventilation in the cat room and too much dust from the litter. If his foster home with 3 other cats and 3 dogs and 2 humans, he is terrific. Whitey deserves a new start at life in a loving home. Please e-mail us at spcagainesville@hotmail.com to set up a time to meet him. UPDATE 4/25/09: Whitey cottonball has been in foster care where he was thriving and doing terrific. He is a good cat with very good litter box habits. He is sweet and easy going. Whitey now weighs 11.4 lbs and looks terrific. He is back at PetsMart on Archer Road starting today and will be there until he is adopted. Our adoption hours are Sat and Sun from 11am-5pm so please stop by and visit him or e-mail us at spcagainesville@hotmail.com UPDATE 3/1/09: Whitey is at PetsMart on Archer Road in Gainesville Sat and Sun from 11am-5pm. Please stop by and visit him. UPDATE 3/7/09: Whitey Cottonball has developed a sore throat and he is now in temporary foster care while he is receiving antibiotics. If you are interested in helping Whitey, please e-mail us. UPDATE 3/1/09: Whitey is at PetsMart on Archer Road in Gainesville on Sat and Sun from 11am-5pm. Please stop by and meet him. POSTED 2/26/09: Whitey cottonball is a long haired very sweet and loving solid white cat. He is about 12 years old and weighs about 10 lbs. He may need some dental work in the upcoming years but otherwise he is in good health. This guy is a total lover! We don't know much about his history or his exact age and are just guessing he is a senior. He is mellow and easy going and would love to find a permanent home to spend the rest of his life. Whitey cottonball is also current on all vaccines and has tested negative for leukemia virus. He will be at PetsMart on Archer Road in Gainesville waiting to meet you or you can e-mail us at spcagainesville@hotmail.com for an application. Our adoption hours are Sat and Sun from 11am-5pm. He is a gorgeous boy and we hope his age won't deter people from adopting him. It will be there loss because he has so much love to give.

Whitey cottonball is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered.
