More About Ruben

Ruben was found as a stray and no one claimed him. Yes we know what you are thinking "that's an unusual name for a Siberian Husky". One of the children in his foster home picked the name and Ruben responded to it right away. Ruben is a lover, he is generous with kisses and likes to snuggle in your lap. Ruben likes to go for car rides and is well behaved in the car. Ruben is on his best behavior at the vet's office too. He likes children and is gentle with them. He has not been around toddlers while in rescue so we recommend children 5 and up. Ruben is being treated for kennel cough and lymes disease. When he has recovered from kennel cough he will be neutered. Ruben very energetic and is a social butterfly. He likes a busy household. He would do best with a canine companion and a family that is very active with their dogs. Ruben displays separation anxiety. When left alone he will knock books off shelves and take things out of drawers and chew cardboard. Ruben will need further observation with cats. The kind people who found him held on to him for three day and he did not hurt their cats. Check back for up dates on Ruben
Home without children (< 5 yrs old)

Ruben is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
