Caliente ("Cali") is named so because she is kinda SPICEY! Dumped as a stray, she is very friendly but likes to be in charge. Typical of a calico, she has her own mind and likes to use it. She is entertaining in her behavior and she certainly LOVES her catnip! She'll eat it, and revel in it for hours. SHE MUST GO TO AN EXPERIENCED CAT HOME that understands cat behavior and will not let her be the one in charge - she responds well to a good leader. She needs someone who would know how to handle and accept Caliente's "quirky" purr-sonality as she can be a grumpy pants sometimes OR a DIVA OR a sweet loving darling. TRUE Calicos are rare and often have this type of personality. **She does not have any health problems and is only listed as special needs because she needs an experienced owner. She gets along just fine with other cats and loves to play like a kitten with them and slam them on the bum and run like a crab. She doesn't seem to mind older children (7 or older) that are experienced with kitties. It is unknown at this time how she does with dogs.
Caliente is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
