Poor Comet has a had a tough time during her short, one year of life. Despite life's slings and arrows, she remains a truly loving kitty. What a testament to her natural-born sweet disposition! She loves nothing more than to be held and cuddled. We were called to rescue this beautiful black and white kitty when she got her front leg caught in an animal trap. Sadly, her leg needed to be amputated. But her surgery was a complete success, and she is able to get around just fine on three legs. As young as she is, she will not have any trouble adjusting to a 3-legged life. Her foster mom has rave reviews about her, and says she enjoys the company of other cats. Now, she just needs what she's been lacking from the start – a loving home. She is in foster care, nearly recovered from her leg surgery and spaying. But she can't stay there forever – her foster mom needs to make space for the next little patient we rescue, that will need her experienced and loving care. So, when you adopt Comet, you will be saving two cats; Comet and the next kitty to need to recover from life on the streets.
