German Shepherd Dog

A sweet little girl (62 lbs.) we named Bryn who is approximately 3 years of age with a lot of puppy energy. Bryn was rescued by the dog warden from a rooftop in Bloomsburg, PA and is being fostered in Slippery Rock, PA. Bryn enjoys play, fetch, and long walks on a cool afternoon. If we mentioned play once it is not enough because Bryn really enjoys getting the most out of life. Bryn socializes well with other dogs but has other thoughts when it comes to cats. In considering Bryn for adoption we recommend having a physically fenced-in yard as she enjoys the freedom to run as well as understands this is the place to do her business (not one accident in the house). Bryn also exhibits some leadership characteristics around other dogs but is very submissive to people. We have worked on her socializing skills and she has matured tremendously. Bryn may still approach other dogs with dominance and assertiveness but with an experienced GSD handler this is easy to overcome. She responds well to a firm voice or a lead. Bryn's skills include obedience, a great bark, cuddling, and being tranquil. Bryn is very alert of her surroundings and would enjoy the company of children.
