More About Alli

Alli is a lovely, well behaved girl. She is about 5 years old, and weighs in at around 50lbs. Her breed is somewhere between Shepherd, maybe a little ridgeback, chow, who knows. She does have a spotted tongue, which is a trait of many breeds, not just chows! She's pretty leggy, and She has very lovely eyes! She's a great girl.

Alli is wonderfully well-behaved. She listens to her owners very well, and knows plenty of commands-- including Sit, Down, Stay, Shake, Wave, Rollover, and speak! She walks great on the leash, and really doesn't have any bad behaviors. She doesn't destroy anything, and is a very well-adjusted house dog. She doesn't even run away from home! Alli doesn't like to be crated, but this is something she may improve with in time. She rarely even barks, unless someone is at the door. Alli is afraid of children, so she requires a home with no young kids. She's okay with other dogs, but preferably with an experienced owner only. She doesn't mind cats at all! Due to her temperament, she would probably do best in a home with a single person or couple with no kids-- looking for a quiet, loyal companion to keep them company and alert them of strangers.

Alli is up to date on all vaccinations, and is spayed. She's been kept up to date on her heartworm preventative, as well. Alli is housetrained, with no issues (she's one of those dogs that will hold it as long as it takes!), so she can easily transition into your home.

If you are interested in Alli, or have any questions, please call (734) 558-3275 or visit one of our adoption fairs to fill out an application. Please call ahead if you would like to meet her!

Adoptions are held at the PetSmart Store in Woodhaven every Tuesday and Thursday from 6-8 pm, and Saturdays from 11 - 3pm. A screening process is involved with each potential adoption, and all fees are payable in cash. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption. Donations are always welcome to help our animals in need!
