Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie [Mix]

This is Annie (aka Hope). Annie was abandoned in a small wetlands area of Windsor watching over 5 sheep which were also abandoned. When she was captured she was covered with ticks and tested positive for heartworm and Lyme disease. With the generous financial support of area residents and businesses through the Laura Hubert Powalka Memorial Fund, Annie was treated for these medical conditions and has since retired from the sheep herding business to relax in a nice warm home of her own. The cost for Annie’s treatment was in excess of $900.00.
