More About GEORGIA

Georgia will always be on our mind! This sweet, two and a half year old has been through more trauma in her life than you can imagine. From being dumped at a vet office in Eastern Mo. and left to die, the breeder could not afford her euth. fee so he paid to have her spayed and the vet chose to get her on the road to adoption. By the time she reached our group, she was immediately put into isolation for 8 days. She had scabies, staff infection, allergies, and a recently sewn up wound to the upper back shoulder area. Upon being spayed she had had so many litters that her insides were made of paper. She had been a baby making machine for a year and a half. Georgia is recovering from we hope her last bout with bad luck. She had a full blown disk in that same upper shoulder area that was causing her paralysis. The disk was removed a few days ago at VSEC in Overland Park Kansas. The surgery enabled her to walk again, lift her head, wag her tail, and just be alive. The surgery total is over 2,400.00. It is an overwhelming amount for our group to endure. WE are small, and do what we can for as many as we can however this has pretty much brought us to a halt. IF you find it in your heart to make a donation on Georgia's behalf, we thank you from the bottom of our beagle loving hearts. Georgia is worth every penny that has been put towards her healthy return. The surgery was just one aspect of her recovery. The shots, spay, skin treatments, medications, etc.have all been covered by our group members. WE will update the pics as Georgia gets better and is able to get out of her kennel. Thank you so much for your contribution!!!!!!!

NOTE:

Beagles and More does not adopt to homes with unaltered pets and a secure fence is mandatory with the majority of our available dogs as they are scent hounds!
