Chow Chow [Mix]

******ADDED 1/14/09******Sweet Taz has had quite the life. He has found his way to all of the right places in his travels. Prior to coming to our rescue Tazzy spent 8 months at a rural humane society. He came in fearful of people and very skittish. The wonderful folks at the humane society saw beyond the fear and saw Taz for the wonderful dog he can be! We are so glad that they were patient and gave this guy more than his share of chances. When we went to the shelter to pull dogs for our rescue Taz’s case was pled to us. Upon seeing this dog totally in love with his care takers down there and how much they loved him back it was a very easy decision to add Taz to our group!

Taz has been a joy to have at our home. He is wonderful with all of the other dogs in our home. Once he gets use to you as his human (about 1 week is all it takes!) then he will be eternally devoted to you!! It is so funny to see a normally stoic chow bouncing around like a lab pup when you get home! He walks beautifully on a leash, kennels up appropriately, doesn’t beg – really he is darn close to a perfect companion! Once you give him the time to settle in and set rules and boundaries for him you will not be disappointed!
