More About Dawn

Dawn's Meet Your Match Feline-alityTM is SECRET ADMIRER (Purple)

When it comes to relationships, I'm very level-headed. I don't leap in paws first, if you know what I mean. But give me a little time, and then I'll shower you with purrs, head-butts, and plenty of lap time. In the meantime, you may not see a lot of me - but I'll be thinking of you!

Interesting Stuff About Dawn:

Dawn is a lovely gray tabby girl with big green eyes. Dawn used to be in a loving home. However, circumstances changed and her owner was no longer able to care for her.

We were told by her previous owner that Dawn is an affectionate cat that loves to be petted but can be a bit shy at first. Since Dawn has been back at the shelter, she's been a bit unsure of this change in her life but at the same time very badly wants the affection of a human. She gives great head bumps and hugs when she feels she's with a friend. When she's feeling loved, her "purr-motor" will engage. It's a great sound that is filled with warmth and happiness. If you take the time to sit with her, she will be so excited that she will drool with bliss and lick your fingers... maybe as a way to encourage you to hang around with her for a bit. Is she a lap cat? You betcha! She may not be the kind of cat to sit in your lap for hours but she definitely will seek out a lap to give love and get love.

Dawn is ready once again for a place to call home. We are certain that she will make a great companion and friend. Come by the shelter and say "Hi" to her, don't be surprised if she answers you back with her sweet meow.

Dawn is waiting to meet you at the Hillsboro Petsmart store. Adoption hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 12-4 or by appointment. Come meet all the wonderful adoptable cats and kittens from Cat Adoption Team!

We offer a 20% discount on adult cat adoptions for senior adopters (62 and older).
