More About Callie VERY SWEET

ADOPTED!!! CALLIE HAS BEEN ADOPTED BY TY AND SEEMA, OF BUFORD! BEST OF ALL, THIS SWEET KITTY IS BEING JOINED BY HER BEST FRIEND, ERNEST, AND BY CHANCE (RENAMED TUX) WHO HAVE ALSO BEEN ADOPTED BY THIS KIND-HEARTED COUPLE!

This extremely sweet one-year old lady was rescued by a PSPP volunteer from a terrible situation at a farm in south Georgia where the owner was deliberately starving to death a large colony of cats. Callie was so pitiful when she came in...but look her now! She has really blossomed, both physically and in terms of her behavior. We think she is very pretty (her photos do not do her justice), and has a distinctive but adorable short little tail just about 4 inches long typical of the American Bobcat or Japanese Bobtail breed. (There were also several Manx cats in her group, so that breed may also be a factor.)

Initially shy, Callie now adores attention and immediately runs up to you when you enter her area, asking to be picked up and loved. Callie really needs a loving person or family who will give her lots of well-deserved TLC.

Callie gets along well with other cats, but would also do fine as the only cat in the household. She is interested (albeit a little cautious) in dogs. She is very tidy and good about using her litter box.

If you are interested in learning more about this pet and/or to request an application, please call Deborah at 404 414 1282 or email her at dsmithcallahan@gmail.com Once your application is approved we can make arrangements for you to either meet your chosen pet at one of our adoption events or we will bring him/her to your home for a "meet and greet."

Please note that we charge a $125 adoption fee for each cat to help partially offset vet care expenses. We generally conduct home visits prior to finalization of each adoption.

Still Not Sure?
