Smiley King Elvis ain’t no hound dog! He has the ability to “smile” when he is happy to see you, then his lip gets caught and he looks just like the “King”. He is a medium sized 2 year old pit bull with a sense of humor and a quiet enjoyment of life. He is one of those smart, quiet types: during training he would decide how serious you were about that “sit/stay” thingy… If you weren’t really into the training session, well now, hugs and kisses are so much better. He is a dog that makes you smile.

His past was a very unhappy one, and he has now left his life on a chain and is learning house manners. He loves to go for walks just about anywhere, anytime. He has done very well with his basic training and should be ready to test for his Canine Good Citizen in the spring. Yes, he does know all of that “sit/stay” stuff! He is crate trained and is good in the house with supervision. Toys, toys, toys! Love the toys! But only the fuzzy ones with squeakers please! He will sniff the toy to find out exactly where the squeaker is. If you try to dupe him with one of those squeak-less toys, he will look at you as if to say “who are you kidding?”

He is a handsome gentleman who would do very well in a single pet household. Cats are not recommended…they might have squeakers! He will test the fence for weak spots, so a secure fence is a must. If you are looking for a companion to sit on the couch with you, go on walks with you, make you smile and love you forever, Smiley King Elvis may be your man.
