More About Sweet Seniors

We find senior dogs often make the most loyal and appreciative pets, and these sweet dogs are all especially great dogs! They are past the puppy stage and they are usually housebroken and non-destructive in the house. They ride well in the car and love to be with their people. All they want is a forever home where they can live out their golden years and be a devoted companion to a special person/family. Please call 973-208-1054 for an appointment to meet any of these special dogs......

Ida is an 8-10 year old smaller white shepherd mix surrendered to the shelter when her owner passed away. She is housebroken and well-mannered and will be a loyal and affectionate companion to her owner.

Louis is a special ~10 year old white toy poodle abandoned by his owners when he needed them the most. He was coughing constantly and was in heart failure when we got him, but has bounced back and responded very well to medication- he doesn't cough at all right now and has a new lease on life. He is looking for a loving home for whatever good months/years he has left. He loves attention and just wants to be on your lap all the time. He is good with other dogs even larger ones.

Pansy is a cute tiny ~7-8 year old toy poodle found as a stray and brought to an area shelter. She is very friendly and outgoing and loves attention. She had a dental and only has 12 teeth left but feels much better now that her neglected rotted teeth have been pulled. She loves to go for walks or just sit on your lap.

We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes or boarding kennels and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East next to Boulder Car Wash. To help us better match a pet to your household, we request you fill out an application on our homepage www.secondchance.petfinder.com and copy and paste it into an email, or print it and bring it to our adoption day when you come. Local inquiries only please- we do not do long distance adoptions.

Sweet Seniors is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered.
