More About Oakley

Oakley is a large, golden tabby striped Maine Coon mix, who also happens to have opposable thumbs! (Well, they're actually extra toes, but honestly, they look like thumbs!) He is very, very affectionate, and is just looking for a lap to climb into. Of course he needs a big lap, but if you can hold him, he's there. Oakley has a huge personality to match his body. He likes to open all of the cabinets to inspect them. If he disagrees with the way the contents are arranged, he'll pull them out for you to put back more to his liking. He also likes to get on top of piles of papers, books or files. If they are not comfortable enough to suit him, he will start kicking some off the table, until he reaches a point where the pile is comfortable enough to nap on. He likes to follow his humans around, since he figures they can't possibly do anything right unless he is there to supervise. He lets you know by getting in the middle of what you are doing so that you have to pay attention to his opinion. Please come to meet him, since after he climbs into your lap, you will never want to put him down. He is combo-tested (FELV and FIV), altered, vaccinated, has a rabies certificate and a microchip. He is approximately 2 years old. His adoption fee is $175.00 UPDATE: Oakley finally found his forever home and was adopted on 6-10-09. He promises to write often and send pictures.

Oakley is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
