Hello Out There!  Can you hear me? Let me tell you about me.....

I'm Buster and I am looking for my very own home. I'm a sweet, loving, and loyal boy. I like spending my time on the couch with my fostermom, watching TV or getting a hug from her. I love hugs! I love giving big kisses. I absolutely love sleeping in bed with her and the other dogs and cats. I'm just an all around good buddy. Do you need a buddy? Here I am!

I love children. I prefer no crouds of children all around me. I just need a little space. That's probably because I'm afraid someone will step on my paw. You see I was a product of backyard breeding where human breed bullies just as fast as they can to make a quick profit. Those humans did not keep my parents healthy. So my poor momma struggled to make healthy babies and I just didn't come out quite right. Calcium deficiency made me have a crippled paw and I walk with a limp. But it's no problem to me. I don't even know I have a problem. I might not be able to go on a hiking trip, but I can go pretty much anywhere and do anything.

I'll be happy to be a companion to your doggie. I love to play to exaustion with my doggie buddies at my fosterhome and then snuggle up and take a nap. As an only dog I'm calm and just follow you around to see what you're up to and see if I can help you with something. I get along with all sizes of dogs and both sexes. I am totally non agressive and turn away if another dog gets snippy with me. When I do get irritated I just make a lot of toothy, big mouth noises and then I give it up and share my bone again.

I am fine with cats too. I like to follow them to see what they're doing and I like to stick my nose in their fur. It's sooooo soft. They hiss at me sometimes. They slap me too. I don't get that 'cause all I wanna do is say hello and watch them do their thing - that's mostly sleeping - you know how cats are! Sweetpea comes to sleep with us every night. I like him. He's a nice cat. He lays right by me and thinks I'm cool.

I'm really an easy dog to have. All I need is an alpha human so I'll continue to mind and be an upstanding canine citizen. My human should have bully experience who understands a bully's stubborn streak which makes me love you all the more and be loyal to you that much more than the average dog. Of course, sometimes it makes me not want to do my obedience. But mommie says I'm good anyhow.

Although I limp, it is not a handicap to me. But because I am a big boy, my body weight needs to stay trim and fit. I can walk 1 to 2 miles a day on grassy surface. I need a little boot to walk on concrete. I enjoy car rides, and going to the petstore too - cow hoofs, pig ears; you know... Yum! Basic foot care is to keep my paw dry so the calous stays good and healthy and I'm ready to play.

Buster will be adopted to an inside forever home only with outside priviledges. Fence preferred. Must own home. No apartment or condo please. Reference and vet check, as well as a home visit are required. Buster's adoption fee of $200 will used to help other doggies in need. For an application contact Karina at SilverRescue@gmail.com.

Buster is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.
