More About Elizabeth

UPDATE! THIS VERY DESERVING CAT HAS FINALLY FOUND HER FOREVER HOME WITH DENISE AND SHADOW MARTIN! Elizabeth is a heart-breakingly sweet and very pretty "Tabico" (tabby/calico) who was rescued by PSPP from an industrial agricultural facility where she and the other cats were being starved to death in an attempt to decrease their numbers. In addition, we were told that some of the cats were mistreated by some of the workers, and we believe Elizabeth is one of those victims.

Elizabeth wants so much to be petted and fussed over, but when you try to pet her she initially cringes as though you are going to hit her. In spite of being afraid, she keeps coming up to you and rubbing against you, and she does very much enjoy being petted and brushed. it is rather touching that this cat is so starved for affectionate in spite of some troubling things that appeared to have happened to her in her past.

This is a cat who will be very loyal to you and will also be forever grateful for love and attention. She needs lots of TLC, and her time for a wonderful home is long overdue.

Elizabeth's roommate is Tony (also available), and they have a very touching relationship. Although Tony is not yet fully grown, he seems to realize that Elizabeth has had some tough times. He is very protective towards her (he herds her away from new people), and they are very close. Needless to say, although we will adopt each one individually to a good home, we'd love to adopt them together! (And we offer a discounted adoption fee when you adopt two pets!)

Elizabeth has been spayed, has received all her vaccinations, has been tested for feline leukemia and feline AIDS, and is micro-chipped. She is very good about using her little box.

Are you the special person or family who will be lucky enough to take this lovely girl into your home and your heart?

If you are interested in learning more about Elizabeth and/or to request an application, please call her foster "mom", Deborah, at 404 414 1282 or email her at dsmithcallahan@gmail.com. Once your application is approved we can make arrangements for you to either meet her at one of our adoption events or we will bring her to your home for a "meet and greet."

Please note that we charge a $125 adoption fee for each cat to help partially offset vet care expenses. We generally conduct home visits prior to finalization of each adoption.

Still Not Sure?

Elizabeth is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered.
