More About Selena

NURSE NEEDED!!!!!  Or DOCTOR or VET TECH or other KIND, COMPASSIONATE, syringe-savy, animal loving, spot enthusiast!!!!  If you love dalmatians and love LOVABLE dogs, then you will LOVE SELENA!!!!  Please LOVE SELENA!!!  She urgently needs her own forever home and the only thing standing between that is the fact that she needs weekly allergy shots and she cannot hear.  If you are a animal lover in the health profession, then we are hoping you are looking to adopt and can handle the weekly shots.  As far as Selena being deaf - you would never know it!!!  Her foster completely forgets as she falls in so well with the pack and actually does 'listen'.  Upon her adoption, we have a volunteer that will teach basic sign language to Selena and her new family to help with the transition.

SELENA has been at her current foster home for a year now.  Her foster mom will miss her dearly but knows that a home of her VERY OWN is what SELENA needs and deserves.  And if you adopt SELENA, you will not only be helping her, but TWO OTHER RESCUE DOGS as well because then her foster can bring 2 very undersocialized dogs home to help when Selena's space opens up at home.

SELENA is a wonderful, energetic and loving young lady. Sometimes she has to be told to stop wagging her tail so she won't wear it out :) She is just one happy dog. Even when she was in bad shape and rescued from a high-kill animal control facility, she still would not stop wagging that tail to each and every person she came upon - it just moved faster and faster. She gets along great with other dogs but does best if introductions are slow. Then she can co-exist perfectly and we think that would be the same for cats too although she has not been around them. SELENA enjoys attention and affection from humans too. She is house and crate trained and likes to play with her stuffed toys - especially she enjoys tug-o-war with the other dogs. She has turned into one of the most special and cutest dogs ever :)

Please contact us ASAP if you would like to set up a 1 month or more trial adoption period to see if Selena is the right pet for you.

For more info on SELENA, please contact Deborah at: debbzweb@yahoo.com OR 832-265-6523.

Selena is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered.
