I'm working undercover to keep an eye on you and your household. You may not even know you're under surveillance. I can vanish into thin air if anyone or anything interferes with my investigation. LapTop is a very sweet and gentle kitty. She is a little bit skittish with new people and new situations, but with a little time and coaxing, she becomes quite affectionate.
LapTop was my foster kitty for about 9 weeks and after a couple of weeks, she really relaxed and became a really darling and loving kitty. When I entered her room she would come to me and head-butt me and ask for some petting with a soft little voice. But she IS shy in the shelter. Once she gets into a loving home, I'm sure that LapTop will become an affectionate and loyal member of the family.
LapTop likes to explore her surroundings and will do this first before she settles down in a new place. Once she is comfortable, she is happy to just lie around and keep you company. She shows no hostility towards other cats and is calm and unafraid around them.
Although LapTop really enjoys being petted, she is a bit nervous about being picked up or chased. She has not actually shown much interest yet in being a lap cat, but I believe once she is in a stable loving home, she will blossom into a much more relaxed and snuggly kitty.
LapTop is a super sweet girl who will make a wonderful affectionate companion. She has excellent house manners and keeps herself very clean. She will probably need a reasonably quiet home and a family who can give her plenty of time to adjust to a new situation. But clearly, if she is given love, she will return it gladly. I am certain she will become a real "LapTop" and will give her new family many years of sweet kitty love.
