More About Thomas
A very brave woman that was helping another lady catch some neighborhood cats, to get them fixed and released noticed some cats wandering around a few doors down. She went to talk to the elderly gentleman that lived there. On the porch she discovered an ill mama cat, so sick she couldn't nurse her own babies and 6 little kittens that hadn't eaten in a very long time. They had massive eye infections, serious upper respitory infections, dehydrated, malnourished and they weren't moving well. The brave rescuer talked the elderly man out of the kittens but he wouldn't let her take the mama, so, reluctantly she took the kittens. When they arrived at the clinic the vet determined they were approximately 5 weeks old but looked like they were about 2-3 weeks old and Baby only weighed a few ounces then. Through the determination of many people and these little kittens sheer willpower, they all survived.
Thomas had a severe eye infection in his right eye, but it has healed completely, although it may always be a little weepy ...it shouldn't require require any special medication or vet care per several vets we've taken him to.
